Hoppa, the leading portal of transfers between airports, cities and resorts, drew up the annual report about the Most Expensive vs Cheapest Destinations for the coming year. They have compared the priciest and lowest costs for accommodation, meals, drinks and taxi fares per person, as well as unexpected medical costs. The result is a ranking 100 cities worldwide.
So, if your budget is low, before booking, you better have a look at the list, if you don’t want to have bad surprises and run out of money.
First of all, you absolutely have to avoid New York, if you want to spend less. In the Big Apple, you can spend about 400 euros a day. That’s a lot! Just think that with the same money you can spend 5 days in the cheapest and you’ll also take the rest.

Well, the first thing that jumps right out at me is the fact that most of cheapest cities are in the South-East Asia: Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia. But the Eastern Europe is well represented too: Ukraine, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria.
